Acadia National Park

The only national park in New England, Acadia National Park encompasses a gorgeous section of the Maine coast, Mount Desert Island and other islets.

It was the first national park created entirely with donated private lands, now home to many miles of hiking trails and carriage roads. Other highlights include beautiful lakes, panoramic views from granite peaks and a wonderful rock-strewn coastline.
