The Cuyahoga River snakes its way for 90 miles through a valley of dense forests, historic villages and organic farms. Situated in northern Ohio, between the cities of Akron and Cleveland, Cuyahoga Valley National Park protects an important piece of American history.
The park is home to the scenic Ohio & Erie Towpath Trail and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad, as well as historic farms and even a covered bridge.
Cuyahoga Valley National Park is mainly an urban and cultural park, but there’s definitely some wildness and natural beauty to be found, too, including waterfalls and wetlands.
